But i have to be completely honest. R2 looks MUCH better in scope and setting. The first resistance felt to bland and uninspiring and the gameplay felt generic. The GTTV episode featuring R2 looked insanely good i can't lie. The narrative looks to be better (the first had atrocious narrative) and the gameplay seems livelier. R2 looks much better than the original a bit above average Resistance. But only being able to carry 2 weapons at a time is lame. One of the things i liked about Resistanc...
Need more info on gameplay. I hope they put you in really tough and interesting scenario's with some enemy diversity. Also show some different guns please.
When i first read that i said "...How do they expect me to choose between those two". Seriously this sounds like a job for iny miny miney mo.
I know alot of people that feel that way about Act 4's robots. But they do give you a good challenge if you're not trying to get spotted. Also the ****SPOILER ALERT**** Boss Battle with Crying Wolf and the frogs required a good amount of stealth. I like how that boss battle played out it felt like a scene from a movie. ****End Spoiler****.
I didn't like Act 1 the first time around but now that i'm on my third playthrough i'm noticing just how many different routes of stealth tha...
I know those things about JRPG's but like you said it's not everyone's cup of tea. My girlfriend loves them but i can't get into them. I know grinding isn't just the same place but still it feels like a chore for me. I know JRPG's are all about story but i can't get into the stories either. It's strange because i LOVE anime but i don't like JRPG's (ironic i know) but i don't know JRPG's just don't scratch my gaming itch.
Yeah i agree with you. In acts 1 and 2 you CAN be stealthy but even Otacon encourages you to fight with the rebels. Act 3 was something completely different. Act 4 i loved since it focused heavily on stealth and act 5 is a perfect blend in my opinion of stealth and action. It includes one of the best boss fights and experiences in gaming i've ever had.
See that's the thing i don't really like about JRPG's is the grinding. You have to stay in specific area's just to keep battling the same menial enemies just to level up. It feels to me too much like a chore to do than actual fun gameplay (for me). Yeah it's gonna have hours ontop of hours of gameplay but most of the hours is just from grinding over the same enemies over and over. I prefer a game where i can earn some stuff my first playthrough then if i want to go through again i keep the ab...
MGS3 had more gameplay than MGS4. It also had better gameplay throughout. As good as the last few acts of MGS4 was i still think MGS3's gameplay trumps MGS4's gameplay. Also i don't remember quite as many cutscenes in MGS3 as there was at times in MGS4. Sure the gunplay in more accessible in MGS4 than previous titles but it turned more into a shooter with stealth aspects instead of vice versa.
I was wondering about that myself.
Heavy Rain with a tentative release date of winter this year.
Don't like dealing with any types of cards period. Others don't even have a bank account or are saving up for something different (like me). It's easier to just purchase a 20 dollar card while taking a trip to gamestop to buy a game.
Unlike you i finish all my games. Even if the game sucks at first i usually trudge through it just to say i finished it. Also the 2 times i rented games i always ended up wanting to keep the game i'd rather own the game than rent it. I'd be able to go back and play it at any time i'd like. It's why i don't sell any of my games back as well.
Because they want more money and it IS a business they are running. Add to the fact of big releases like MGS4, GTA4, Halo 3 costing MILLIONS on top of MILLIONS to make and you see why the price has been hiked up. It's just not the big franchise games either it's new IP's like Heavenly Sword and BIOSHOCK that are costing millions to make. Simply put they need to sell at higher prices and sell more copies to recoup the cost of developing.
Though i do believe smaller games should h...
Where you guys is coming from. It's like if they announced that Dues Ex 3 would have unified ammo and that you couldn't kill important characters yourself (i would hate both idea's). I can now see where you guys are coming from. For you it's a formula that's damn there perfect and all you need to do is through in different graphics, update the story and add a bit more variety and the sequel is done.
Is God Of War 3 teaser trailer or demo of the first level or something, also having Team Ico show off what they've been working on would be really good. I would absolutely love for Heavy Rain or some other new exclusive IP to be announced as coming out later this year. I wouldn't mind seeing what they have in store for more PSN titles and PLEASE release PSN cards already. They are missing out on alot of sales by not having PSN cards.
The third person perspective looks much better in these new screenshots. Before the ones they showed off looked pretty bad to tell the truth (like really bad) but these screen looks much better. Can't wait for the game to come out. Environment looks more gritty as well instead of just the destitute look.
Petitions seem to be new thing now a days for gamers with things they don't like. Only problem is they hardly ever change things. Anywho no online in THIS naruto game, i'm sure the next one that'll come out sometime mid next year will have online vs mode. Believe it *Laughs*.
It should be broadcasted on G4tv again and some gamesite should be streaming the event.
Can't wait. I'm sure Sony and MS is holding back on some stuff to show us (game wise) that should shock us.
I wonder where did the 7 gig install rumor come from in the first place. I mean seriously the install isn't even 3 gigs, where did people pull 7+2 gig saves from.
